About

Jenn Marie is a freelance writer/copywriter that primarily writes about health and technology. She currently lives in Seattle, Washington and is a wife and mother of four children. When not writing, Jennifer works with a local small business designing marketing plans and executing events. She previously worked as a promotional model and spokesperson.

Jenn Marie completed formal writing training primarily on-the-job with The Charlotte Post Newspaper. While working in circulation, Jenn was promoted to a contributing reporter and copy-editor. The newspaper appreciated her creativity and ability to connect with both the subjects she interviewed as well as their readers. Subscribers frequently wrote into the paper to compliment her ability to ‘paint a picture with words’.

Jenn left The Post to pursue full time volunteer work with National AIDS Fund AmeriCorps. While there, she worked as a health educator, continuing to write by creating informative newsletters. Upon finishing AmeriCorps, Jenn moved to Chapel Hill to attend the University of North Carolina. She was accepted into their journalism school on a scholarship.

Jenn now works primarily as an online writer for companies and individuals. She enjoys writing blog posts, website content, ebooks and sales pages. Jenn focuses on writing content and copy that is engaging, unique and factual. She works quickly but purposeful, taking every project assigned to her personally.

This is her semi-personal blog that offers some of her insight on writing professionally, samples of her work, and links to other profiles online.
